The question of alcohol in Morocco is a common one. There are many liquor shops and many cafes and bars with a licence. In the Medina of Marrakech, if you want to sip a cocktail and watch the sun go down I suggest you head to the very lovely Le Salama....it’s easy to find in the street beside the vast Cafe De France. It is spread over three levels and the plant filled rooftop terrace is enclosed with big windows, perfect for sunset viewing. The cocktail list is lengthy and there is no pressure to then stay and eat, although food is yummy if you choose to linger and dine.
